The Yankee Barn Homes Shell Packages are manufactured in a factory-controlled environment by skilled Yankee Barn craftsmen. The primary components of the Yankee Barn Homes Shell Package include the post and beam frame, True Roof Panels, True Wall Panels with pre-installed windows and the second floor sub-floor.

- Development of Schematic and Progress Plan Sets for the home layout
- Engineering Review of the Yankee Barn Homes Shell Package
- Construction Plans for the Yankee Barn Homes Shell Package, plus a Foundation Plan
- Yankee Barn Homes Shell Construction Supervisor works onsite with General Contractor to erect YBH Shell Package
Additional products and services often included with the YBH Shell Package include:
- Additional polyisocyanurate insulation for True Wall and True Roof Panels
- Alternative window brands, including Andersen A-Series, Eagle, Pella and Marvin
- Premium wood flooring
- Premium wood interior doors
- Decorative cupolas, towers or turrets, open or closed to the interior
- Engineer or Architect Sealed Plans
- YBH Construction Crew to erect Shell Package
The client’s builder provides the labor to erect the YBH Shell Package and materials and labor to finish the interior. Finishing items provided by the client’s builder generally include:
- The foundation
- First floor sub-floor
- Labor to apply the siding and trim
- The finished roofing material
- Interior wall partitions, plus drywall for the interior of the YBH True Wall Panels
- Utilities, such as electrical wiring, plumbing, heating & cooling system
- Kitchen and bath
